Bareboat charter means the crew is not included in your charter price and either yourself or your hired crew is responsible to operate the yacht, this is the same as renting a car. A crewed charter is when Toronto Yachts’ permanently hired crew are in charge of your well-being as well as operating the vessel. Toronto Yachts offers both services. Please ask for the Transport Canada letter of compliance.

Toronto Yachts is one of the three Toronto-based operators in the yacht category that offers legal Crewed Charter service. Many yacht operators are unable to provide this service legally due to the long list of additional safety equipment, procedures, and extensive personnel training requirements set forth by Transport Canada prior to receiving approvals for this service.
